Why and when to use an Interim Expert?
Different reasons to use Interim Managers :
In Crisis situations to reorganize a service, a business unit, or even
an entire company, punctually or in a specific time frame.
When they can contribute with knowledge and experience to a management team
in a crossroad, in areas such as an expert administration and finance,
or serving as a guide to an organization that has lost its whereabouts
or motivation.
They can confront complex problems, such as poor understanding within
the organization, poorly handled commercial relationships, with clients
and/or suppliers.
IM are not only problem fixers that can arrive to the company in a moment of changes adjustments in the organization or to provide their experience in “start ups”
evaluation and development of new business, mergers and acquisitions,
“due diligences” including restructuring of entire companies or for Private Equity Funds.
On the same basis an IM can provide the necessary continuity bridge while the
Company defines, recruits, or repatriates a permanent executive more suitable
candidate for a specific position.
Other companies that are looking to improve or innovate the skills and the
multisectorial expertise of the IM to revive a project, develop new
products (projects) in their portfolio, or evaluating new markets.
In our experience the best contribution of an IM happens when they
are assigned a job with a preestablished time frame and with
a predetermined benefits contribution.
